By definition, Loaded Flow is a continuous and seamless sequence of whole body loaded movements done with rhythm and timing with an aim to keep momentum alive. The term more commonly used is “flow” training, but within our program we interchange flow with Loaded Movement Training (LMT).
Loaded Flow is a science driven style of training that not only has numerous benefits, but is more engaging compared to the traditional forms of exercise. It features concepts such as whole body functional training, rhythmic coordination, cognitive enhancement, improved metabolic function, and improved tensile strength.
Benefits of Loaded Flow include:
- Promote a tensile strength that helps fortify the body by providing greater stability as well as creating more space in the joints for mobility.
- Improve integration of the whole body to produce a summation of force in a variety of directions.
- To cause neuroplasticity. During these movements the brain is creating new connections.
- Train the body to mitigate stress through the whole system rather that localizing it.

I love your theories! we need more workouts based on loaded movement relative to daily activities. Especially for those who work in physically challenging industries!
