When trying to grow your group fitness schedule and increase your revenue streams, one of best ways to do so is being able to teach multiple group fitness formats. From a gym’s perspective, being able to teach choreography and other formats allows you to substitute when needed and run your own weekly classes. This is no easy task as teaching choreography takes time and practice. In episode 46 of the KIPS Personal Trainer Application Podcast, guest Stacy Merrill shares her journey through the fitness industry and all the formats she currently teaches. Stacy started like most by taking a group fitness class and falling in love with the idea of teaching her own. At the moment, Stacy teaches HIIT, High Fitness, bootcamp and can substitute in formats such as barre and pilates.
